Blood Donation

It is such a shame that I never donate my blood before, seriously. It’s not that I do not want to experience or donate but the nurse will never ever let me do it. Yeah, I’m underweight and having low blood pressure.

To be honest, I don’t even know which group of blood I fall under. I think it’s time for me to get a checkup, real soon.

We went to Jusco to do our sundry shopping as usual during weekend and we saw there’s a blood donation campaign running.

So, honeys being as usual sign up for it as he has donated don’t know how many gazillion times. I guess he too used to it. Meanwhile, as usual what else I will do beside went for shopping.

Krispy Kreme

Tried Krispy Kreme for the first time in Time Square. They took over Dome previous lots if I’m not mistaken. I put quite a high expectation on it due to the word of mouth from various peoples that it was good and famous in US.

We ordered a box with varieties types of doughnuts but we just couldn’t finish it. I find the texture is quite hard and too sweet for my liking.

Honey 26th Bday

It’s honey 26^th birthday today. I didn’t plan any surprise party for him as he want a small celebration this year. What I did was we head over to Garden to meet up some of our friends for tea time and walk around a little.

Then at night, I book a dinner celebration at Cyberview Lodge Resort. It was really a nice place for couples’ getaway from the hustle bustle city lifestyle. June and Eddy was there with us. The dinner was enjoyable and they got honey a small cake as birthday gift.

For some of you might noticed, my skin has improved lots lately. Despite of the fair tone, the pores has been reduces. Yeah, I am having a combination skin which is consider tough to take care. According to my skin doctor, my skin combination = dry at outside and oily from inside.

I don’t mind to share with some of you which you might have similar case like mine. I started using Clarins products and mask twice a week. The mask which I’m using is not those branded type. I bought it from a friend of mine Cherrie, whom I consider selling it quite cheap.

The reason of me choosing cheap mask is I found it such a waste as I will throw it after like 25 mins. I’m not trying to say that expensive masks are no good. If you can afford it then why not?

Also, mask your face at least twice a week is essential. You might not see the result instantly but through years if you are discipline enough, you might get compliments from peoples that you looks younger than your age!

Fong Lye (Taiwanese Restaurant) @ Garden

Adrian suggested trying this restaurant out as we saw many customers lining up all the times for the foods. Yes, it’s all the time!!!

The service was not that bad as we were given a waiting number and there are couches outside the restaurant for those customers who were waiting. Apart of that, they do serve us some free cold drinks whilst waiting. The waiter/waitress speed in serving us was quite fast as well.

However, I couldn’t comment much on the foods as I’m not a Taiwanese food lover. So, I found it just alright and nothing much special. But I will definitely say this is the right place to bring our dearest parent (especially Chinese) to try it out and I think they will love it.

Happy Birthday Yuen Nee!!!

Hope you like our surprises that day. I heard lots good comments from friends that delicious was good but I find it alright only.

Perhaps I set a high expectation before I try it out. Anyway, love the ambience and décor. I don’t mind to head back there one day.

Mind on my hair as I have yet to straighten those baby/new born curls. Arrghh, wish that I was born with straight hair!!!

Thai’s Restaurant @ Hulu Langat

It was located in Hulu Langat, further down after Gasoline where the look out point located. Don’t know from whom dad heard from but the ambience is like we are dining in an area which located far away from the hustle bustle city.

They served Thai’s foods and all veges were planted by themselves so as fish. You’ll see the lake next to the place where they serve you (the place where they rare fish).

Pricing wise not too expensive and food taste wise not bad too! Sorry that I couldn’t recall the way to this place but for those who know me, you can ask my dad :p

Right after our dinner, Cass suggested we head up to look out point for drinks and I told my parent that place is full of youngster and they might find it boring. But being my dad who is an adventures person, he insisted to go too. To my surprise, my parent bumps into a gang of their friends and they stay longer than 4 of us (both sis, me and honey).

It was my first time attending a grand Malay Wedding courtesy invitation from my ex-colleagues Juliana. It was totally differ from lots of Malay Wedding that I attended thus far. The venue, foods, video presentation, speeches and etc… I learnt cultural differences. Perhaps due to small numbers of Malays and Indian close friends that I had. But definitely one of the great wedding that I attended.

It’s my first time attending wedding dinner in Park Royal Grand Ballroom Hotel. Nice venue, really but the foods were so-so.

Fion & Edmund, one of the couple from my APIIT classmate since diploma. They had been together since then and I am really happy for both of you. Your loves has tested throughout many years.

After reading so many posts from other bloggers on full house and I was eagerly to visit this restaurant due to the ambience/decoration; we head over with June, Eddy and Danny.

I seriously quite like the décor but the foods… I will say so-so only.

We stopped by in Holly and I had a cup of hot choc drink which I prefer CB hot choc better. Anyway, we had lots of fun in Holly with the Zenga game. Each one of us was trying to prove that they are better and I think Eddy was the loser for that night.

Dress from Eclipse

Attended Aunty May and Ben’s birthday dinner in Equatorial hotel back in March 1^st and before I took my new dress off, I snapped a few shots of me wearing it.

Got this dress last minutes from Eclipse due to Aunty May requested not to wear black on her big day and apparently all my dinner dresses were in black except my Yellow Cheongsam. I was shopping for a dress last minutes in MV and told myself that if I couldn’t get any, I’ll just wear my Cheongsam again.

I spent my family a dinner in Canton I, garden during my mom’s birthday. I was searching around for good Chinese restaurant that my parent yet to tasted before. And we finally settled in Canton I as one of my colleague recommended it.

The ambience was good for family; at least we can chat after the dinner. And I think the foods were not too bad. Even my grandma can finish her own plate of rice+bbq pork+ chicken!!! It considered lots for her age at 80++ as she hardly eat much lately.

Tired of baby post? I still have some more!!!!

Jen drove Jed & I all the way to Muar to visit baby Daphne, baby to Father Brandon and Mummy Cherrie. That time she’s only 2 weeks old. So cute and tiny… I dare not to carry her at all.

Jen was happy and excited as to meet Daphne as she’s foster mummy to baby Daphne.

Looking back how fast time passes, Daphne is already 3 plus month old. I hope to see her again if she happened to drop by to KL.

Tau Foo Kang

I’m seriously missing my foster dad ‘tau foo kang’ lots! Thinking of it now really makes my saliva dripping.

Not that I’m trying to exaggerate or what, but my foster dad ‘tau foo kang’ is so much better/tastier than outside available/reputable Chinese restaurant. So far, I’ve tried many ‘tau foo kang’ outside and none of them able to beat his.

Sad that he will only cook this dishes during festival/celebration which usually on CNY.

His roasted bbq porks claim good by many ppls. I dare not comment as I don't take pork much

A close college friend of mine delivers her first baby boy, Ethan his name December last year. She was the first amongst us who get married and now became mother. That’s how fast time really passed.

She always mentioned to me: “looking how big Ethan is, reminds her of how long both Jed and I got married”. Yeah, she delivered Ethan 1 week after my wedding. Chell… you look just like a hot mama when you attend my wedding. I still remember how chill and radiance you are that time.

We bumped into Eri, Eugene, Eunice and their family too! What a coincidence.

I used to blog about Teng, Esther & Cannie very often last time. It was like back in year 2007. Ever since we left Pulse, it is hard for us to meet up as each and every one of us is pretty packed with our own schedule and lifestyle.

However we do still keep in touch via emails, sms and phone call of course. I realize we just couldn’t have enough of chats when every time we met. I do miss you girls a lot….

My colleagues quite love to have lunch in Societe which is a café and wine bar in Lot 10. They introduce me to this place before CNY and since then, we dine in there for lunch quite often.

I’m quite surprised that they can serve not-so-bad asian foods like fried glass noodle and some Chinese style mihun. Also their tau fu far is quite smooth = nice!

I will never fail to order tau fu far every time I dine in here.

Eddy, honey and I tried Brisik on a one fine Friday evening as that funny Eddy crave for Sambal Kangkung so much. Found out that this is actually an Indonesian food restaurant and the interior was not too bad. Service was quite good just that their foods serving were pretty slow only.

As I couldn’t take spicy foods much, and to screen for non-spicy foods in the menu is as hard as making my husband go shopping with me.

But I managed to find something edible for me finally which is NASI GORENG!!!

Of 25 years of receiving red packets from elderly, this year is our first year of giving out to youngster and non-married. We have spent approximately about RM700 just on red packets!!!

This is haven’t inclusive of honey giving out red packets to his family and me giving out to my family. All in all, total we spent about RM3,000 plus!!!

As married couple, when we do our visiting to relatives house we couldn’t afford to go with empty hand and therefore before CNY, we already buy necessaries and stand by about 5 packs to pass around. There another few hundreds… gosh, when come to CNY, I seriously wish that I am still single!!!

I have attended 2 weddings dinner thus far in 2009 and it’s only February now.

Both wedding dinners were actually back to back on the 1st and 2nd week of January. It’s really burns my pocket.

Is this girl familiar? Yes, you might see her face everywhere on the road if you notice the Smart Reader bummer sticker stated ‘child on board’. Just that now she has grown up.

Also you might see her in some advertisements from Astro channels. Her name Alisha and she is just so lovely and adorable! We pay her a visit right before we attend KY & Hong Ling’s wedding which is quite near from her house.

Dim Sum Breakfast

Dim Sum aka Chinese sushi (I called) is my family favourite breakfast. Amongst the nice dim sum which I have tried so far in Klang Valley (to name a few) are: -

Chuai Heng (not for their dessert)

So back on Dec 25th 08 Christmas morning, we met up together with my auntie and cousin dines in Restaurant Palace in PJ. My comment would be not too bad but I still found that the above 3 stated restaurants serve better dim sum.

Have you all noticed that there is this new franchise US food chain opened in Time Square? It’s just right at the main entrance of Time Square which is near to Dome.

My friends and I went there back in December and tried it on the opening day itself. Its called Papa John’s. Sounded like Papa Rich right?

This shop is for Pizza and Pasta; another food chain stall for me to visit often (I’m a pizza lover). Tried both and if you guys have chance to try it out, I do not recommend you to have Pasta there. I don’t find their Pasta nice but of course you can go for Pizza. Not too bad, it’s all in thin crust.

I still find that Coffee Bean has the nice hot chocolate drinks amongst all at this moment.

Sg. Gabai

There is this public holiday of Awal Muharam (if I’m not mistaken) which falls on Monday, my friends was so ‘semangat’ to go Sg. Gabai for picture taking.

I woke up like 5.45 in the morning DURING PUBLIC HOLIDAY + RAINING MONDAY getting ready to head out meeting up my friends. Just before we headed out, I double check with Jen again.

Jac: eei, it’s raining now.. so are we still going?
Jen: of course, we are on our way

So reluctantly to leave my bed, we headed out to old town to meet up with them. Headed to Connaught for DimSum which I found it so-so only and realize that there are many peoples actually getting up such an early and raining morning during public holiday.

After that we head to Sg. Gabai, passing by tiny road and amazed that there are so many Kampungs around KL still. I had the exercise of walking all the way up for waterfall on the early and raining public holiday morning and didn’t manage to play water with them just because I’m having THE DAY OF THE MONTH.

So I can consider the photographer to them whilst they are all playing water. Sorry, and I just realized that their pictures is still with me.

Apology for stressing out the early and raining public holiday morning as I am wondering why on earth this gang of friend so hardworking. Perhaps they are really SIAO.

Family Christmas Mall Outing

Just back from temple which located at Old Klang Rd area, the rd leading to MV was so jam.

I was telling honey that during Sunday, we can’t go to MV else, we will be one of those cars that stuck there. Perhaps it’s only happened as CNY is just around the corner? I wonder.

Usually, my family has this habit of doing our CNY clothes shopping around Christmas time due to Sales, the design at least is not all red or flowery yet and just to escape some last minutes shopping.

Caught in sinus once again after yesterday slight spring clean of our room and on half day Medical leave today. Hate it so much and I’ll make sure myself wear a mask on the next spring clean.

Do you know that both Jed and I afraid of balloons? Yeah, a huge man like him does afraid of balloons. And what’s not, after our wedding ceremony done, his mom get him to tear down all the balloons which has been decorated by his dear aunty and sister on one fine day noon.

As I am afraid of it as well, I couldn’t help much but to get him to tear down all by himself and make him clear all the balloons at the living balcony area with the class closed. I am really such an evil for laughing and snapping pictures of him being tortured from inside.

So many gifts exchange and meet up during December prior to Christmas. Let me post up some of the pictures event by event.

First was with my PESS friends (secondary school), it has been such a long time I didn’t meet them up. So many catch up and everyone was so differ, so many stories to share and laughter. They get prettier over years.

I bought a top as present for exchange and guess what, I’m the secret santa to Kah Yin and I got a set of Body Shop toiletries from Esther. Love the present though, can use it during the travel.

First and foremost, I would like to wish everyone Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday & Happy New Year!!!

Seems like most of my 2008 resolutions has achieved!!! I’m happy with myself. 2008 has been a good year for me (grins).

Married a very good husband is the best amongst all, went for trip twice, career advancement twice in a year and healthy (touch wood).

However, I still failed to control my spending… I am still spending so much.

Right, here’s a list of my 2009 resolutions/target for myself: -

1. Control in spending!!!!
2. Another burberry bag???
3. Settle my car loan by Jan 2009!!!! I’m really so happy for this
4. Contemporary yet simple design for our HOUSE (renovation)
5. Try to dump more money into our house loan accounts
6. New handphone
7. Be good wife
8. Must grow my career to the next level!!! (felt like getting more and more career minded as time goes by. But I am not workaholic yet)
9. Do more charity!!

Honeymoon @ Bali - Days 3 (Part 2)

Ok Bali days 3 continue…

As I am so disappointed with the volcano, we did not stay there for long after our buffet lunch which is not so hygiene also. Gosh, once we were out waiting for our personal coach, there are so many peoples approaching us to buy their stuffs. Some of them even just a young child and seriously I’m really sympathy to them. Where is their future? Can my UNICEF donation extend to there as well?

Maam’ please buy it, please buy it….

Then we quickly snap some of the sceneries and head off.

It was a rainy day and he brought us to visit paddy field as well as tea garden. I quite enjoy the moment when we were at the garden, sitting at a hut whilst sipping hot chocolate and coffee and enjoying the garden scenery.

Our final destination would be Tanah Lot, we did nothing much but to visit the sunset and snapping pictures. I couldn’t put into words on how many tourists were there. All from differ part of the world. Got to know that Bali is a famous spot for Aus, US, Japanese and Korean.

Honeymoon @ Bali - Day 3 (Part 1)

Woke up and had same breakfast which is English breakfast, then we head out as today is suppose to be our 1 whole day tour.

We travel quite far to this place which I don’t know where to watch Barong dance. I was pretty confused on what they are performing compare to Kecak dance. Most of the time I keep asking honey but he refused to answer me and continue to snapping pictures.

Right after that, we headed to see the way peoples make Batik (somehow slightly than Malaysia Batik), art/paintings and some shop that sell real gold and silver. We ended up bought a painting for our new house which only going to be done by next year.

As Bali is famous with a lots of temples, we stopped by 1 of it which I have forgotten its name to do some visiting.

From all those places, we were then being driven to see Volcano and have buffet lunch up there. I was sleeping all the way up the hill; the ride is just like we travel up to Genting. Serious no jokes, the weather was pretty cold as well. I was pretty disappointed as the Volcano is so far away from us, thought it will be like right in front and I can really feel it….

As there are more pictures to go for Day 3, I shall break this day 3 into 2 parts. Will blog bout another half soon.

Honeymoon @ Bali - Day 2

The room package that we took came with complimentary breakfast for 2 each day. I will say that this Mutiara Hotel breakfast is just so-so only.

As we ask the tour guide come only at late morning, honey and I take a stroll walk around the hotel and we started to take pictures. Right after that, the tour guide brought us to town and we did a little shopping and visit few temples around the Bali town. They really have a lot of temples around. Saw a beach at the town area as well but I don’t see anyone swimming there.

We headed to this restaurant called Gabah to had our lunch. The food was not bad at all, and honey makes a right choice by ordering Ayam Bertutu! It was nice and huge in portion.

The tour guide then brought us for Spa and it was good. I love it so much and it’s really relaxing. Both of us had a good time for 2 hrs plus and I think I started to love Spa after this trip. Dangerous!

We were then head over to see Kecak Dance performance and then adjourned for dinner. Even the dinner place there also they have dance performance. It’s really quite entertaining. That’s it and we head back to hotel to get some rest.

Honeymoon @ Bali – Part 1

Can’t post any wed pictures yet as I haven’t got it from the Star East (bridal studio).

Hence, my honeymoon posts.

We went there with Air Asia and surprisingly this time round they were quite punctual: only from the way from LCCT to Bali.

When we reached there, it’s at 6 evening and the sky was really dark. You can just imagine they 6pm is like KL 8pm. Yeah it is like that. The hotel guy was there holding the cardboard with honey name on it. He’s quite warm and friendly.

Well, the room was spacious and impressive. We were welcome by Orange Juice. Oh yeah, note that in Bali; Orange juice = Sunkist Orange Juice and Orange Squash is the REAL Orange Juice. So most of time, we are drinking only Orange Juice.

After that we met up with our tour guide. His name Ketut, local, quite friendly and able to converse in English and of course Bahasa. I got his contact through my friend whom a pilot. Therefore, it’s really a good deal as it’s his freelance job. He’s not tied with any tour company at all.

Understand that our purpose of this trip is solely for honeymoon, he brought us to this Bali beach restaurant and obviously by its name; it’s located at the beach. We dine there for our dinner and there is band singing song for us. So silly of us, keep thinking whether the Tsunami will will suddenly hit us and we’ll die just like that. I’m not kidding; the waves are really that strong!! And we are just right in front of it with seafood.

That’s how we spent our first day and oh ya! Balinese are 90% Hindus and therefore PIG is everywhere. One of the most famous foods there is Sucking Pig!!! I really thought they are Muslim before this.

Hey guys, sorry for the MIA for quite sometime. I was up with my wedding and yeah, I am MARRIED now. Stop asking when’s baby boom… because I also not sure. When it’s come, it’s come.

I’m just back from BALI, touched down in LCCT yesterday late night. Sorry to Eugene as I couldn’t turn up to your birthday party. Anyhoo, happy birthday to you!!!!

Lack of update as has been busy with room shifting to Jed’s place lately. A lot of stuffs to throw and to clean up.

After that, have to meet up with my gang of friends for wed preparation. I’m seriously really glad that I have this group of friends. Not just that they are helping us but they are also ready to play some of the important role in my wedding. They even hunt many hours, days and weeks to look for the right dress, top or bottom for themselves. Awww.. owe them much.

I do not have any photos to post here as my camera has been K.O.
Really need to get myself another camera real soon. Hopefully I can have it after my wedding before my Bali trip. Will snap more and post it once I got myself a cam.

Oh ya, not forget to update, yesterday was our Dowry Day... it’s pretty simple as Jed came with his Aunt to hand my family some wines, fruits and The Cheque!!! Then we proceed with prayer at each other house. I think he can post those pictures as he did snapped some.

Also, will head out to Star East again to get all my gowns accessories chosen.

Right, that’s all for now as I need to continue do my packing. Will update more pictures once I have any.

Overprice for Carls Jr.

I heard and tried Carls Jr. in Singapore since way back before them entering Malaysia market. That time I just felt like their portion is really huge for an Asian like me as if you earning SGD the price are still acceptable.

However, look at the price that they charge in Malaysia. Its range from RM 17 till RM 20 ++ for a set!!! Gosh, it’s just a fast food you know. Since then, I don’t really like to step my feet in.

But due to one of my colleague farewell, she chosen Carls Jr. in Pavilion and we all accompany her to so called celebrating her farewell. The service there is real sucks!!! We waited almost 30 ++ minutes just for our sets to arrive, knowing that this is a FAST food and supposing to be self service restaurant.

Half way eating, I saw occasionally peoples started to walk to the counter to ask on the status of their order (I sit really near to the counter where the drinks machine was placed). Few minutes later, numbers of peoples walking there and ask them!!! Some even shouting to demand back their money and complaining on the SLOW service.

Really dramatic man!

Talking about Abba songs, I started to love their ‘Slipping through my fingers’. I wonder did my mom or dad felt it this way. Watching their little daughter growing up, and now getting married.

I know marriage should be a happy occasion to celebrate but whenever this song playing in my car CD driver, I project myself as a mom to a daughter… watching her growing up and apart from me. I can’t help but tears and sad as well as happy also. The feeling is just so indescribable. That’s why, our parent are really irreplaceable.

I have been busy passing my red bomb aka wedding invitation card out to some of my friends. Besides, I would like to apology to those that I could not extend my invitation to as tables are limited. Yeah, believe it or not, out of 54 tables, 8 tables are belongs to my friends ONLY. Wuhuhu, sad right?

Sometime I do wonder it’s actually my marriage or my parent marriage LOL? Right, I’m thinking of heading to BALI for honeymoon right after my wedding. Any suggestion or sharing? As in hotels, foods, places to visit and etc; both of us really blur on this.

Also some update from me is yes, I am addicted to ABBA songs again right after the Mamma Mia movie which I watch with the GANG. Got hook up on it and it’s has been playing in my car cd player since weeks! There are just so many of my favourites J

Some ladies go for clothes, shoes or bags. Which one are you? I’m definitely a BAG person!!! I can invest heavy for a bag but not clothes or shoes. My husband did questioned me before which I can’t give him a concrete answer at all also. LOL.

The only reasons that I gave him are: -

Clothes – usually I will give away or sell out after few times wearing unless I so damn like it
Shoes/Heels – as long as comfy I don’t care because it’s use to step and walk on dirty road

So left out only bags, therefore I super like BAGS. Sometime I even window shop only for bags. But I just found out that this webbie giving out 24 bags in 24hrs!!!! What you waiting for??? Faster go grab it at the link below!!!

Dear all readers or friends,

Wow, it’s seems like my blog suddenly more and more peoples dropping by LOL (just kidding). I was thought that all these time most of the readers would be my friends… never know so many strangers was reading it all these whilst for I knew I’m not an interesting person nor my English was superb at all.

Just recently I have a talk with few of my friends that I was in fact wanted to leave my blog just like that as I do not have so much time to update anymore. I have so many priority and more vital things to do as age goes by.

Therefore, you’ll see I did not reply any single comments nor tag board messages since months ago and not because I am coward or anything unless I see necessary. What for I reply to those nonsense of those strangers that doesn’t know me in person at all. It’s their mouth and therefore they have freedom of speech.

Also, some peoples said I am unfaithful and that I wreck other relationship? Wow, I wonder do I have such capability to do so. Like you guys said, I do not have good command in language, dumb, and ugly… and still I able to wreck a relationship? That’s pretty funny as I don’t even know that I actually start any relationship before my current husband.

Meanwhile, to those girls out there that name Cheryl, abc, def or what so ever… from what I recalled, I do not know you in person or probably I do knew but you guys are too coward to reveal your actual identity or probably you all are actually the same person. You better know the actual fact before bad mouth or give bad comments of the other person. Remember, what goes around does come around.

Jacklyn must be getting really famous I tell you, got haters siut! I also don't have leh but of course I am not asking for some lah, hehehe. Ah, the one that is filled with jealousy. If anyone is being obsessed and think highly only of herself/himself, that person should be none other than you as only one such as yourself would be able to come up with such comments on another's appearance as well as style.

And oh no, I am not blind at all and my short sightedness has even improved, surprisingly, perhaps its the many hours I spent looking at her. Oh, I'm really sorry, did I make you feel sick and your stomach churn that you feel like puking again? Be really careful not too vomit on your stylish, pretty and expensive clothes since you would really, really, really need them to compensate for your lack of approachability and friendliness, seriously. That's the only method to prevent a barrier of at least a few hundred meters from forming between yourself and others.

To Bernice:
Well, same goes with me, I am not proficient in Mandarin at all to the extend that she's better than me at it. So, in your context, that would probably make me extremely useless but still, not as bad as one who criticizes others and makes spelling as well as structural mistakes at the same time *rolls eyes, make that twice* Oh, and on never meeting a useless person before, I guess you have not been looking into the mirror lately, there's one right there, in front of it.

What I see in her, I won't even bother explaining, it would be much too difficult for one such as yourself to understand. The only wastage I see, is your words filling the cyberspace and perhaps a little bit of my time in replying to your comments.

It’s finally end of the weekday again! I’m always in cheerful mode on every Friday (grins).

Well, you know what… lately I’m always having nightmare on my wedding event. More than 4 times you know!!! Probably I’m just over worried. But it’s coming, who won’t get worried. I’ve been keep on thinking which part I have yet done and how to make it better whilst maintaining the budget.

Not easy though….

But I sincerely thank you to all my friends who will contribute their assistance on our big day. You guys know who you are and for the rest, we look forward to see you on that night and enjoy ya!

Courts Sucks!!!

Due to I’m moving to Honey place coming November and my wardrobe from 4 doors cupboard personally own have to transform to a sharing wardrobe with my Honey, I need a white drawer. My taste would be English and simple style of white drawers to fit in some of my clothes.

Then both of us saw what we wanted in Courts and they sold it for 300++ so it’s kind of not that expensive. Immediately we bought it and being told that we have to wait 1 month for the drawer to reach us. And not just that, we have to come personally and take it and they DIY.

Well, July until September… I’ve given them more than a month and there’s no call from them at all. Then, we went back there and check on the status, I was thinking perhaps they just forgotten to call us up. Impossible for us have to wait more than a month just for drawers?

What shock me is, they told me that they will have to re-order it again!!! And then this lady also persuade me to cancel and will refund back to me if I can’t wait longer. OMFH!!! There’s still such service now??? Some more ask us to get the refund… I wonder how peoples actually care about their BUSINESS!!!

I will then tell honey, this is my first time in Courts and this would be my LAST time!!!!

After we are done with our solemnization, we head up to the temple for prayers. I mean I found it good to do all these stuffs during our ROM, donating and prayers. It’s some sort of blessing.

When reach our turn, we go in and register ourselves by handling all our documents and IC. 2 witnesses IC are required as well and our witnesses would be both of our dad.

Once done, we are directed to a room and that’s where we signed and swear our lives away, LOL.

At first the lawyer read out the marriage statement in Mandarin but after she got to know that both of us are ‘banana’, she proceeded in English. Note that, if we divorce within 6 months from now (I guess, couldn’t really remember), we’ll get fine.

After that, the marriage cert being circulated and we all have to place our signature on it. We have to swear and saying the ‘I do’ stuffs in front of everyone. This is the part that I felt a little awkward, don’t know why.

Proceeded with exchange of rings (wedding band) and I’m finally legally married. Yeah, I’m Mrs. Jed legally but in Chinese, we do not consider ourselves married until our wedding ceremony. That’s why I’m having difficulties to introduce him as my husband or fiancé still.

Concert - called off

I just got to know that Avril concert cancelled as our government or PAS peoples said that it’s not commemorates with our Country Independent Month and Ramadan Month.

What a reason!!! This is really ridiculous!!!

Honestly, I am no longer that PATRIOTIC comparing my younger time. I even stop reading news sometime because I’m just too sick with my own country politic!!! So much disappointment and too little things being done; fighting amongst themselves is what they did.

Now, come such decision some more. IT IS NOT LOGIC OR MAKING SENSE AT ALL!

By doing such, do you know how outside world look at us? Everyone was laughing how silly we are.

I am so ashamed to tell people that I’m Malaysian. I am not proud to be Malaysian as I use to be when I was young. I don’t see hope in many years to come if such politic still happen in our country.

I have never come across any country that banned the concert due to it is Independent Month. Really WTH!!! So so lame….

Upon reaching there, we were required to show some documents and honey got me a bouquet of roses. I love it so much and until today it is still in my room (but dried version).

We jokes and chat whilst waiting outside, waiting patiently for our turn. Coincidently that both Edmund and Fion is there too, submitting their documents. They planned to get married this month. Congratulation to them!!! Both of them are my diploma classmates and they started dating since then until now!

ROM = Registrar of Marriage = Solemnization Ceremony

For those who don’t know, I am actually legally married to my honey. But our actual wedding ceremony only happened in 3 months plus later (wow, that’s pretty fast!).

Right, we signed our paper on 25th May 2008 and it went well. Quite nervous and exciting but not on the signing part; yeah you might be wondering what else then. It was the meeting between 2 families that got me so nervous and excited.

We are legally MARRIED!

Yeah, both our families yet to meet up each other during our 6 years plus relationship until that ROM day!

My advice to you all, please get the families meet up before the ROM part. These are what I did:

I booked a room/table for dim sum in Yu Jia village (recommended) for a breakfast between both families so that they can talk (warm up) and formally meet up each other before the signing. On top of that, they do talk about our actually marriage, dowry and all sort of stuffs in related to our marriage.

This is how the situation like on that day :p

Having a room with nice dim sum breakfast definitely make them less tense (just in case), besides, I did invite my honey sister and her bf as well!

Not to mentioned, Jen the photographer of the DAY!!! Thanks a lot for your help!!!

Did you guys watch the Olympic opening ceremony last Friday?

I tell you what, the whole office was talking about it and I was extremely exciting for it. I watch almost all the Olympic opening ceremony since the day I know about this game/sport event. And this time round it’s hosted by China. Even though I’m a Malaysian but be it a Chinese I am extremely proud of it.

I am proud that I’m a Chinese!!! (Malaysian Chinese).

The opening ceremony was so grand, wonderful and yet able to deliver all Chinese culture throughout the world.

I particular like the drum part, thousand of drummers in gold color; they made it so grand and look at the count down part that the drummers did… marvelous!!!

I bought myself my second laptop but this is my first time trying out Dell. I was comparing between Compaq and Dell for the past few months before I made my purchase. I finally chosen Dell due to word of mouth from my friends and also because they have the Red Color Lappie. I just don’t want it to be black as I my previous Toshiba is in black color.

Family Outing – Mdm. Kwan, Pavilion

I would like to thank you to all my friends whose concern on my mom condition. Yes, for those who doesn’t know, my mom is one of the breast cancer survivor. She diagnosed with this illness since June, 07.

Until today, there are many of them asking on my mom condition and I am proudly and happy to inform you all that she is progressing well. Some latest picture of my mom taken during father’s day this year.

She has stopped working since last year and now only assisting my dad in his business. Believe it or not she has a part time work now as informal cancer patient advisor. LOL, she went often to hospital and constantly sharing her experience with those cancer patients.

Looking at the above photo, she is indeed a healthy person now and thank you for all the concerns.

Recently I have started to pay some interest in cooking. LOL, doesn’t sound like me right? But in fact I even started up with my own cooking recipe book. Whenever my mom or Jed’s mom cook, I will take a look and put it in my recipe book.

Probably just some preparation stepping into my marriage life. Well, today I’m gonna share cooking tea egg with you all. I’m a tea egg lover and it’s just expensive to buy from outside. They sold RM0.70 per egg outside where you can make it with spending amount of RM12 for 20 eggs!!!

First I bought the tea egg spices from purple cane. It’s only cost me RM5.90.

Then you boiled 15 – 20 eggs thoroughly.

Once the egg cooked, lightly beat the eggshell to get even cracked. This is to ensure that the spices went into the egg when you cook later.

Add the spices and eggs into the pot. Then pour in water to cover up the eggs and cook for 30 minutes over moderate heat.

Add some salt, soy sauce and rock sugar; let it simmer for another 3 hours. But I will suggest you leave it over a night and eat the next morning hence, the spices went into the eggs well.

According to Purple Cane, tea egg is a kind of alkaline food which is cooked with medicinal spices. It not only whets the appetite, but also well for liver and disperse alcohol. Hence, it is suitable for all ages.

I was feeling so sick… having flu and body feeling hot & cold.
As I was driving to work today, my car stopped in front of TPM traffic lights. Vanessa Hudgen song was playing from my CD player and I saw a young couple, walking towards TPM. Must be going to college as they are wearing casual with their bags and books.

Both of them looking stress-free, jokingly beating each other and laughing whilst heading to their college, awww… so sweet. It’s reminded me those were my days walking with honey towards his university as well.

Pregnancy, marriage, career, assets & liabilities, financial and even politics topics are always the ‘thing’ that we talked about when I hang out with friends recently.

I met up with differ group of friends regularly like the usual hangout blogger and now are my friends, college mates, classmates, ex-colleagues and etc. It was so obvious or drastically changed on the topic that we discuss, chat or whatever you named it.

I still remember where we use to talk about latest cell phone, fashion, boyfriend/girlfriend, gossips those days and now recently, all my friends talking about their house, husband, cars, career and even their pregnancy experience!

Is this sign showing that I’m old? I hope not, but looking back, I’m amazed on how our lives can change. Every one of us gets mature and it’s interesting to catch up with them once in a while. We can sit on that table for hours!

I wonder have you all heard about this during primary school life. That was back in 90’s. Yeah I’m not that old though.

Lately I’ve been craving for ice cream, especially McD cone ice cream because it’s CHEAP. How can you get a tasty rich ice cream with just RM1? I asked Junn few time on our way back from work and finally that day, he drove in McD drive thru for me.

Bought and eat it immediately whilst he drive back to Cheras, I realized that on each 1st day of the month, we can get McD cone ice cream with just RM0.50!!!

I’m so happy to found this out as no one informs me before. And I’m going to buy McD cone vanilla ice cream every 1st of the month now.

Headed to Burger King for breakfast with Honey, Jen & Rames. Not that we do not want to try out their local foods but it’s weird that their shop does not open as early as 8 plus a.m.

We walked for few minutes, hunting for breakfast and settled down in Burger King. Well, not that bad as I do not go for Burger King breakfast in KL. But I still prefer McD breakfast amongst fast foods breakfast that I tried thus far.

Head back to opposite our hotel, meeting up with Cherrie, Brandon, Selina and Winnie. Today our activities will be going for Kayaking!!! Awesome, never try that before.

The monkeys were real lots there... and they are smart!!! I was so afraid that they will jump on my boat. If they did, I think my boat will be upside down. Poor honey, have to keep me and our boat a distance away from all the trees where monkeys were mostly there.

Also, I discovered that monkey actually can swim as well. But just a short distance.

Before start of my working day, I used to read Star online news everyday. And I realized for the past few weeks, especially after the petrol price rise many of Malaysian started to cut down on expenses, delayed their plan, and some even take up 2nd jobs to fulfill the family needs.

After reading all these stories, I laid back at my office chair, thinking how lucky I am. I don’t really have to bother thinking about cutting down my expenses. Only yesterday, I splurge RM 120 for father’s day in Madam Kwan and another RM 49 on Forever 21 belt in Pavilion.

Thinking back on the RM 49 I can actually purchase my 2 weeks of lunch. Where yesterday when my parent asking the reason on why I buy the belt, I told them the belt looks nice on me.

As I typing this post, there’s a voice lingering on my ear telling me to change the way I spent.

Spend only on necessary… though it’s hard, but I thought on wanted to give it a try.

Both honey and I went out for our wedding room furniture hunting yesterday. The prices of furniture are so high that is beyond our imagination. And that’s only for just a ROOM! Therefore, I told myself, I must change and hence I have a bigger sum of budget to splurge for my house renovation end of next year.

Pancake House

Back on Denniz trip to KL, we tried on Pancake house located in Pavilion. Initially plan to bring him for Jco but looking at the queue, we gave up. Moreover honey said SG donut is better than our Jco!

The place was cosy = nice to chat. But the pancake I found it overprice then it should be. Teng said she can make similar pancake of the one that I ordered.

At night, we head nearby to beach where they have field and benches around. A lot kids & families there and we bought bubble, kite and etc to play.

And I blow that bubbles non stop, kinda addictive actually! Miss my childhood day, really.

The next day, we head over to Melacca as it only took us 45 minutes from Muar. Brandon and Cherrie brought us to this shop for cendol and Nyonya Asam Laksa. It was marvellous!!! But I realized Melacca is much more hot than KL.

Petrol Price Hike up AGAIN!

I still remember from the day that I got my Kelisa... I asked the sales fellow “how much is my full tank”?

He answered: “RM 50”

Few months later, when petrol price increase a little... I got to pump in RM 55 for full tank.

Last petrol hike up where government reduce the subsidy... it will be almost RM 60 for full tank.

Today, if my calculation is correct, for full tank Kelisa (1.0 c.c.) = RM 65++!!!

I totally understand that other countries does not have petrol subsidy from government. But this is fine because they won’t get that tax for buying car. Take a look at our neighbour country Singapore, their parking and petrol is high; but their car is CHEAP!!!

And now we have to pay for both side. High price car with high price petrol. WTH!!! Where does all my tax goes?

I guess I have to remain with Kelisa forever... gone my Vios wish.

Yesterday, our afternoon being spent for viewing those selected wedding pictures with design.

Our final song for our DVD wedding pictures would be – Greatest gift of all.

It was very much headache as in it’s hard to make decision on which one to be the main photo frame, second photo frame, our wedding banner, then another 10 poses for us to distribute to our friends.

Lots of peoples at the bottom part

Heard a lot of stories about Gunung Ledang especially those with negative news.

However, the journey prove me wrong. Gunung Ledang indeed a nice place to hang out. It’s so refreshing!

Equip with foods comprises sardines, egg mayo, bread, tomato, cucumber, veges, luncheon meet, drinks and etc; we march up the top of Gunung Ledang.Actually it wasn’t the top but due to the restriction to enter further up, we have reach to the top already.

Though I did not join them for the water activities, I enjoy sitting down there snapping pictures, enjoying refreshing green scenery, watching my friends playing water and a sandwich at my end. Yeah, it’s hard to have such feelings in the city.

Back from Muar - Part 1

I am back from Otak otak town

I was sleeping the entire journey to Muar. The moment I wake up was already at the rest area toilet. WTH, wake up due to the car suddenly felt so hot, no more air-cond. Then after that continue my sleep til we reached Muar.

Cherrie, Brandon and Damien waiting for us with the spicy wanton which I didn’t try. Sorry guys, but I can’t take spicy food. Moreover, I’m really damn blur that time.

Once reached Brandon place, I wash up myself and then continue my sleep. They were all laughing damn loud watching youtube but I don’t care. I prefer the bed :p

The next morning, they wake me up and then Jen, Cherrie and I have to head over to the kitchen to prepare our sandwiches for Gunung Ledang trip. Wah, I cooked you know. He he, no worries, they are all fine... only injured themselves at Gunung Ledang but not my food.

Taman Pertanian, Shah Alam

Interupt my Krabi post and to all my friends, how are you all?

I’m doing fine just that pretty packed up with activities lately. Just back from Taman Pertanian on Monday and Narnia movie yesterday. I’m damn exhausted.

Imagine on a public holiday of Monday, the usual gang and I wake up like 7 a.m. and meet each other up at 8.30 a.m.!!! I wonder where is all my semangat come from and there we head for our bicycle ride plan in Taman Pertanian.

Me and the bicycle... 4 hrs for RM 6 = OK lar

Before that, we stop by at McD for breakfast and whilst on our way, I keep telling everyone that I’m gonna order my Sausage McMuffin with Egg which later we found out that the outlet don’t serve all the breakfast except for pan cake. Reason given was all lack of muffin stock. WTH... I was real dissappointed.

The trip was fun though tiring, we ride for almost 4 hours!! Up the slope, down the slope... I’m almost dying and I keep asking Hiew when are we gonna reach where we started. I have to admit that I’m OLD!

This post will be solely on hotel review.

In that 4 days 3 nights, we stayed in this hotel in Krabi called Best Western Ban Ao Nang.

Wifi and internet area which we did not use at all - no time for it

Staircase towards our hotel rooms but believe that the lights will off around 11 p.m.

Room was quite clean and spacious. The plus point is once you walk out from the hotel, shops are around. Very convenience and shopacholic like it!

You can find foods, souvenier, clothes, massage, tours and etc in just stone throw away from this hotel.

However, the negative points that I don’t fancy about this hotel was the service wasn’t that good and the staircase lights turn off after 11 p.m.!!! Honestly, I don’t give a damn whether they would like to save electricity or what so ever but I have never encounter a hotel that off their lights at night along the walk way.

Krabi, Thailand Trip - Part 1

Yay I’m back from Krabi... and yesterday was my solemnization day which I’m gonna post later as those pictures is still with Jen.

Dad fetch both Honey & I to airport and therefore we waited everyone in McD. Bought our breakfast whilst waiting and bout 10 mins later they all arrive. It’s really happy to see everyone and we are all damn excited for our trip. Can’t wait to touch down Krabi airport!

About 30 mins half way of our flight to Krabi, the pilot announced that we have to back LCCT airport due to some technical failure in the plane that we are boarding. Damn scary and at the same time a little dissappointed as he mentioned we have to wait in LCCT until there’s a flight available.

We proceeded back to McD for ice creams and not long, we move back in to the check in area for our next flight. I think it’s about 2 hours later.

When we got into the next flight, I wonder why Air Asia don’t give us any complimentary drinks as our trips has delayed for 2 hours. Probably that’s because it’s trully budget airline? On top of this, I find that their air stewardess hardly smile, is their foundation is too thick for them to smile?

Finally we touched down Krabi airport safely and everyone clapped hand LOL. So drama!

When we got our luggage, Honey found out that his bag zip was torn off. Immediately we all went to claim for it and Air Asia return us 300Baht.

Today Friday is extra refreshing when back to work. Sometimes it’s good to take time off for holiday and when you back to work, you’ll feel this way.

Hell lots of works today, when I stepped into the office towards my cubicle... I saw few stacks of documents and notes. Then, once I on my Lotus Notes, it’s even more.

I wish I can take a break in between works... a night before in Starbucks with friends

Spending the whole day clearing up those tasks and it’s really exhausting. And at the end of the day, I have yet to clear my tasks... will continue on Monday.

26th April 08, I hope this will be one of the most memorable birthday for HIM, my fiancé.

I called it Jed’s Last Birthday Party mission LOL. I’ve been planning almost for a month ago.

Right, back on what has happened; I try to act cool like nothing much on the day part. We went to Pavillion at noon and have our breakfast + lunch in Sakae Sushi. Honestly, they have a wide range of foods. Sushis are not too bad just that I felt it wasn’t cold enough and their Sukiyaki soup is terribly sweet!!!

Then we walk around till everyone reached La Bodega and then only I bring him in. he has absolutely no idea that I called everyone for this celebration. I lied to him that is romantic dinner for 2 LOL. He really believed it.

Your presence is the gift from you to us already, thanks David once again.

How many peoples in your country sacrifice, how many innocent people you have killed?

Have Chinese question you this where you can’t find those bombs or whatever dangerous nuclear that you mentioned? But deep down in my heart, I wonder where is all the IRAQ oil/petrol gone. Tsk tsk….

You guys show Tibet-ians bullied and harm by CH peoples in papers where they actually just tie them up. Didn’t your police in your country tie up your thieves?

Why don’t you show the world out there where Tibet-ians went and burn down their shop and bit those Chinese in CH first? You guys really know how to filter news and it’s such a waste that you all don’t contribute such skills professionally. Like film editing? LOL.

This was way back on end of last month where we celebrated Esther’s be-early birthday due to Cannie has to leave to HK for good.

It was both sad and happy occasion. Happy Birthday to Esther but also a farewell dinner for Cannie. For those who have follow my blog, both of them are my ex-colleagues and our bond from colleagues grew stronger and now, friends.

We make it again in Bat Kin Bat San café at Shamelin as it is near for everyone. It was good to chat and dinner together again after quite sometime.

Esther, I knew her from college but only got closer when we are colleagues in Pulse. That’s pretty weird I knew. She’s the kindest person on earth that I knew. I always felt like I am the evil whenever she’s with me. You really grew prettier over years!!!

That night, I really felt like crying when I hug Cannie goodbye. Know that I might not see her for long. I really miss us as team, colleagues & friends = Cannie, Teng & Esther… I will never forget 3 of you whenever where I work.

6th Yrs Anniversary

It’s the day that honey won’t bully me. It’s the day that I won’t get scolded from him no matter what I did or how much I trigger him.

Usually occasion like anniversary, valentine, my birthday and coming more occasion… I won’t get bullied nor scolded by him.

How happy I am (grins).

It’s sad that we only get to celebrate this special day only after working hours and I thank you Junn for dropping me off at KLCC all the way from Cyber.

Grabbed a shirt from G2000 for him as present and never realize is that expensive until I pay at the counter. Gosh, man stuffs are real expensive. Tsk tsk.

Then we went to Manhattan Fish Market for dinner and shop for a while after that. I teased him few times but he manages to control his temper. Sometimes its fun to torture him this way.

He so wanted to order a side dishes and hence here it is... now you know why he so big?

Saisaki: Jap Buffet

All these pictures was taken way back on the month of March... beginning of March, I supposed. Yeah, way damn outdated! That was the time where I’m still working in AXA.

My dept and secretariat dept planned for a company lunch on that day. There we headed for Saisaki in UOA due to it’s near to our office. The price is affordable, about RM50 per person for buffet lunch.

A lot of peoples asking me about my wed preparation and to them I answered, I have yet to choose my gowns.

Well, finally last 2 weekends I went to Star East with honey and June for my pre wedding gowns selection.

I like this design of cheongsam but then BLUE doesn't suit me at all :(

In total there are 7 gowns I need to finalize for my pre wed photoshoot.

Before I went, I’ve already done some research on what type of gowns can my petite body carry. After reading, it can be narrow down to 2 only which are princess or can can cut.

I tried few types of gowns when I reached there, halter, tube, spaghetti stripe and etc. I wish so much to choose halter but it doesn’t looks nice on me because my shoulder wasn’t broad enough.

In summary, if you have petite body like mine: -

1. Can can with extra long gown is the best because that will make you looks bigger
2. Princess cut not so bad but it doesn’t give that nice impression as can can type
3. Tube dress is the best as it will make you looks simple yet elegance. On top of that, it will enhance your boobs!
4. you can take halter type only if you have broad shoulder
5. Try to choose bare back rather than v cut in front for petite. Try not to reveal much of the front part for petite. Go for bare back!!!

Night gowns are so much easier to decide compare to white gown. This is due to colors can help you determine which suit you better. I’ve chosen, green, pink and gold. Cheongsam was the easiest to choose amongst all!

When come to white gown, because everything is in white or ivory color, design is the only thing that you need to determine that suit best.

AXA Farewell @ Secret Recipe

Just got back from farewell dinner with Cannie & LLS in Bat Kin Bat San, Cheras.

Initially wanted to post about this farewell but whilst downloading back those photos from my phone, I saw those pictures which we took back in 2 weeks ago during my AXA farewell lunch in Secret Recipe, The Weld.

Time flies in this 2 weeks time. It never seem that I have been in Convergys for 2 weeks already. I was really too busy everyday... but I’m happy that my works ocupied me.

To my AXA colleagues, I really miss you guys especially to my lunch gang!

I hope that I can pay a visit to you all someday and we shall have lunch together.

Went for a dinner last Friday with a group of friends in Rahsia to celebrate Jason Bday. Yeah, not that I mean to keep the place in secret but the place is called Rahsia.

It’s actually a fine dining restaurant but we are too noisy until those waiters & waitress close the door, which separated us with the remaining of indoor guest. I will say, the ambience was nice if you would like to spend quality time dining with your loves one.

To come with a small group of close friends is a good idea as well.

Foods were nice but very small portion, I can easily finish up 2 main courses. Average price range from RM 28 and above.

Apology for my lack of updates as I’m pretty busy lately with my new job and honey is back in town.

My office is in Cyberjaya. Yeah, I’m back there and I think I really like that place. We have flexible lunch hours and colleagues are nice. Mostly around my age, therefore we can click well.

I love my new job specs as well, as it is under client servicing and not on sales. Sorry, there will be no pictures of my new office due to it’s prohibit to bring in camera as all the data/information is very confidential.

So, please don’t 3G call me during office hour time.

Back on Tuesday, I got a free movie preview thanks to Jason again for inviting. Reach MV pretty early and do my shopping alone. LOL, I was looking for suspender!!! Yeah and I went to MNG, Top Shop, Ms. Selfridge and few other shops but couldn’t find it.

Decided to give up therefore I asked the Ms. Selfridge sales assistant where can I get it and she replied à male shop. I bought a pair of earring and left the shop.

Talking about the earring, I spotted a cool looking pair displaying in Ms. Selfridge, and they are having 50% tag there. The price was RM 23 per pair and I thought on top of that would have 50%. When I made my payment that time, then only I knew that the RM 23 is after 50% (isshhh…).

So embarrassing and my wallet left back RM 20 only. Then need to pay using credit card!!! Wah, I felt like digging up a hole and stuck my head in it that time. So so embarrassing!

Right then I proceed to philosophy men and look for a black suspender and I found! That sales men ask how tall is my bf and I told him that this suspender is for myself (oh no… so embarrass again).

Then to KimGary we went for dinner. Hikaru and I ordered Nissin noodle (yeah I knew it’s actually a Maggie mee) but it has been such a long time I had it. Surprisingly and honestly, KimGary Nissin noodles really quite nice. The soup is nice as well.

Talk about the movie, it was Narnia type of movie but the ending was really unexpected. I gave the rating of 3/5.

Free movie!!

Quite excited in the middle part onwards till Jen frightened once sitting next to me. I close my eyes don’t know how many donkey times… yeah, I can’t take scary movie. This is not that scary but it’s unexpected.

It’s children movie anyway… not too bad, you guys can give it a try.
